SUMMARY: Trip

Our European trip is over...all 3.5 months of it. We can't believe that it has come to an end already. Soon we will be packing our bags and heading west to Tahoe to begin work at GE Energy. Thanks to all those who took the time to follow and support us during our journey. It motivated us to continue to write the blog along the trip. As a result, we will have a really great keepsake of our travels for the rest of our lives.

Here is a short recap of some of the highs and lows of the trip:

Favourite cities
  1. Rome, Italy (for amazing sights and food)
  2. Berlin, Germany (for everyday living)
  3. Prague, Czech Republic (for beer)
  4. Krakow, Poland (for friendly folks and day trips)
  5. Vienna, Austria (for free ballet tickets)
Least favorite cities:
  1. Naples, Italy (for bed bugs and crime rate)
  2. Oslo, Norway (for expense and lack of sights)
Favorite days:
  1. Traveling through the fjord lands (see here)
  2. Baths of Budapest and dinner with Opera stars (see here)
  3. Over the Swiss Alps on the Bernina Express (see here)
